Our founders grew up spending weekends at local shelters and scouring flea markets, always searching for ways to help animals and uncover pieces with a story. With deep roots in animal rescue and a lifelong passion for vintage and collecting, we asked ourselves - why not blend these worlds? That spark led us to create a resale shop where every purchase plays a part in saving lives.
Our mission is simple but powerful. We curate quality secondhand treasures, donate a meaningful share of our net profits to local animal rescues, and invite others to join us in building a sustainable, compassionate community in Rhode Island and beyond. Whether you come in for a unique lamp, a gently loved jacket, or a quirky bit of history, each find has purpose and heart.

Meet Our Founder
Jodi Lahyani
Shop Owner
Jodi's journey started long before Rescued Treasures opened its doors. Her earliest memories are filled with lost pets, dusty thrift shops, and dreams about making a difference in her hometown. Animal rescue has always been her calling - she's spent years volunteering at shelters, fundraising for medical care, and personally fostering dozens of animals needing a second chance. Alongside her sister and lifelong friend, she found a way to connect her love for vintage hunting with her mission to save lives. For Jodi, the shop is about more than beautiful finds and one-of-a-kind treasures. It's about hope, second chances, and using everyday shopping to build a kinder, more connected community for people and pets. She welcomes every customer like a neighbor and believes each item tells a story - one that can make our world better.
